A Kitchen That Floats Between Earth and Emotion

Positioned with sculptural precision, the SieMatic SLX island anchors the room — yet appears weightless. Crafted in dark-grey ceramic with a delicate 6mm profile, it floats above a mirrored plinth like a quiet monolith. Matte gold-bronze recessed handles glow softly from within, with custom LED illumination shifting with time and mood. Every surface is intentional. Every line, composed. This is a kitchen not merely designed for function, but for feeling — a space where light, texture, and proportion awaken the senses.

Materials as Language, Display as Art

Every element of the composition speaks the language of refinement. The glass display cabinets, framed in anodised gold-bronze and bronze-tinted glass, offer curated transparency — a place where form becomes art. Along the back wall, tall cabinets in matte-black oak ground the space with gravitas. Vertical recessed handles in gold-bronze shimmer like threads through dark fabric, integrating LED lighting to add quiet brilliance. Hidden within: the latest technologies, seamlessly blended to preserve purity of form. It’s a dialogue between concealment and expression — between purpose and poise.

The soul of this kitchen lies in its balance — between tradition and innovation, structure and softness. Framed by exposed stone walls and a courtyard pool in Luserna stone, the SLX becomes part of a greater architectural story. Every detail, from programme selection to precise installation, was brought to life by 1•618® Group’s architecture team and SieMatic Roma partner Pierluigi Bianchi. It is a total work of art — one that honors the golden ratio not just in geometry, but in how we live, gather, and create meaning through space.
